On the day of Hae’s disappearance Adnan lent his car to a “friend,” Jay. Adnan knew Jay because Adnan’s best friend was Stephanie whose boyfriend was an older, already graduated, male known as Jay. The records led to the questioning of Jenn on February 27th, who had met with the detectives after she had enough time to speak with Jay. She recalls that the night of January 13th Jay met with Jenn and expressed that he really needed to reveal a secret he had been keeping.
