Is Adnan Syed innocent or guilty? On January 13, 1999, Hae Min Lee was a senior at Woodland High School went missing. One month later, her body was found and her ex-boyfriend Adnan Syed was arrested for her murder. I believe that Adnan is innocent because he was seen at the library the day Hae Min Lee went missing and Adnan had an alibi who saw and talked to him at the library the day Hae Min Lee went missing. The first reason I believe Adnan is innocent because he was seen at the library the day Hae Min Lee went missing. This reason makes sense because it explains how Adnan is innocent. This reason makes senses because if there was an ice storm, Adnan wouldn’t be able to go out and kill Hae. “Hae disappeared on a Wednesday. That night there was a huge ice storm, which is unusual in Maryland. It ended up being a state emergency. And school was closed for the rest of the week.” This quote proves Adnan is innocent because their was an ice storm the day Hae went missing and Adnan wouldn’t been able to kill her on that day. Adnan isn’t guilty because Asia wants to prove that he is innocent. “I just wanted you to know where I stode in this entire issue (on the centerline).” This quote proves that Adnan is innocent because Asia wants to prove the court wrong.
