Haitian Revolution
In the Haitian Revolution, the slaves rebelled against their French owners. They conquered and colonized the land. Obviously, the Haitian Revolution took place in Haiti between 1791 and 1803. The central reason why this took place was that of the views of the Enlightenment. This was a major influence on the French Revolution. The Haitian Revolution, in history, was the largest and most successful slave revolution in the Western Hemisphere. Slaves started with the rebellion in 1791 and by 1803, they had accomplished their goals. In the end, they not only abolished slavery there, but they also took over the French colony.
Industrialization in Britain
The economy in England flourished and changed drastically. It changed from being essentially agricultural to mostly industrial. The Opium Trade was cut off by the Chinese, and the British did not agree with this. When both countries sent fleets, they met in the middle of the ocean. That is how the war began.
