Hi Solomon, In reading your post and the readings for this lesson, I share with you the frustration in realizing the obstacles that Native Americans have been, and still are, facing regarding the court cases. To understand something is so sacred to them, yet the courts don’t even make the effort to hear them out, is quite heartbreaking. Interesting note about the 2009 example you mentioned where the Supreme Court didn’t even hear the case proposed by the Navajo nation. It’s less than 10 years ago, and yet it seems something that could be from a long long time ago since we’ve evolved as a government society.

On that drive, he spotted the actor John Candy in the stands and decided to point it out in the huddle, right before leading his team 92 yards and throwing the game winner with thirty four seconds left in the game.

They include LAPD incidents where Investigation of police are said to use racial slurs through communication of text amongst themselves when referring to Blacks, Latinos and people of middle eastern descent. Ultimately what Queally and Mozingo are trying to get at is that law enforcement abuse their power and degrade their reputation, and should be civil and not be dishonorable by being racially

In this essay I’ll be writing about the Death Penalty and abortion. These two topics I feel very strongly about and it’s very important to me.
