This is the mission of a well-known bookstore that sells new and used books at a reasonable price for all customers. Apart from its competition like Barnes-n-Noble, Books-a-Million, Amazon Prime, and Ebooks, Half Price Books has positioned itself within a unique niche in the book industry. One of the many factors that have influenced Half-Price Books success is functioning as a bricks-and- mortar store and online. The ribbon consists of several links such as Books, Movies & TV, Music, Textbooks, Rare Finds, Gift Cards, and Our Story. When a link is highlighted another tab will appear displaying more categories for the link selected. So if the link “Books” is highlighted then the different book genres would appear allowing the customer to browse through the different categories with ease. Directly under this ribbon is the search bar, so if the customer wants to locate a specific item this will make the search easier and quicker. Following the search bar, there is a sliding screen showcasing the different events, books, or items currently happening. Currently, the sliding screen consists of Free Cape Day, Free Book Charm, Library Book Drive, Mother’s Day sale, and other events.
