A lot of people think that Halloween and Día de los Muertos are similar, but in this essay I will tell you why they are, in fact, very different.

Google says, “Halloween or Hallowe'en, also known as Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve, is a celebration observed in a number of countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day“ and “Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican ancestry living in other places, especially the United States.” They are different through their dates, their symbols, and their food.

First, let's start with the basics. Dia de los Muertos originated in the country of Mexico.
