Hamlet, composed by William Shakespeare, is easily one of the most recognizable pieces of literature. During the late 1500s to early 1600s, William Shakespeare was known to be the most popular English playwright. Also being the author of the famous Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare has numerous pieces of work that often times have underlying morals for the reading audience. Considered be a tragedy, Hamlet not only tells a story, but the play also gives readers insight on the underlying themes and problems that were being faced during the Renaissance. The storyline follows a Danish prince who is trying to avenge his father’s death after his own brother murdered him. Throughout the play, Hamlet is taking precautions before acting out too quickly
