Back in the 1930s, it was hard for children to stay in schools because their parents could not afford it. For those whose parents were able to pay for school, they were able to be trained to become businessmen to benefit their future. Children also had limited technology so they could only do so much. First and foremost, In the 1930s,not all parents had jobs due to the great depression which made it hard for them to pay for their child to go to school. Parents had to pay for books because the schools did not furnish them. Parents also had to give their child a lunch for school, but many parents could not afford to do that
