Therefore, the parents can scare their children from birth. Children learn what is right and wrong from their parents. In the book, The Pigman by Paul Zindel, creates hardships that the characters overcome by coming together. Many hardships tear them down like: John and Lorraine’s parents betraying them, Mr.Pignati’s trust betrayed at a party, and Bobo, the monkey, dieing.
