The Harley Davidson KHK Model
In 1954, the Sportster’s little brother was born on an assembly line. Harley had just celebrated 50 years in the motorcycle business two years earlier and the KHK was another attempt to produce a streamlined motorcycle that still had the muscle to hang with the big road bikes of the era.
This was a fine-tuned version of the K Sport version launched 2 years prior. Although the KHK didn’t have a long life itself, it was defining evidence that Harley was on the verge of producing a motorcycle style they had been striving towards for over 20 years.
