Harriet Tubman is a big part in american history, She made a lot of incredible decisions and remarkable bravery.Harriet Risked her life many times to try and save the people that needed help. Harriet Tubman was such a role model to lots of people. Harriet was born in maryland, harriet had a very tough childhood, Growing up was very tough and very scary. Harriet was forced to work when she was only 6 years old and was beaten and threatened when she didn't work hard enough. Harriet had gotten married when she was 25 years old. Harriet married a man named John Tubman and exactly 5 years later harriet couldn't take it anymore so she, escaped slavery in the south to become a leading abolitionist. Before the American Civil war. Harriet entered slavery in 1820 and successfully escaped in 1849. Rather than Remaining in safety, Harriet made it her mission to rescue her family and the people who didn't deserve slavery.December 1850, Harriet received a message that her niece Messiah was going to be sold, along with her 2 children.
