CHARACTER OBSERVATION
Harry Potter:
He was he chosen one, the boy who lived. He was marked by his lightning-shaped scar. Being a hero was written in his destiny since the day he survived one of the unforgivable curses. Among all the witches and wizards that Lord Voldemort had set his eyes on, Harry was the only one to manage to stay alive.
At first, he had no idea about the magical world and his past. He used to live with his cruel Aunt Petunia, Uncle Vernon and their spoiled son Dudley because Voldemort had murdered his parents, Lily and James Potter, when he was 1 year old. He misses his dead parents even though he doesn’t really remember them. He wishes he had them by his side. Being an orphan was always like a hole that could never be filled in Harry’s heart.
All in all, Harry Potter was a bright, brave, smart kid who had leadership skills.
Ron Weasley:
He was the youngest son of Molly and Arthur Weasley. This couple that had five sons and only one daughter was not very rich. They were getting on with Mr. Weasley’s salary that he earned thanks to his job at the Ministry of Magic. Ron was a red-headed shy boy who lacked Harry’s charisma. He was a bit clumsy. Ron was Harry’s first friend in Hogwarts and they became best friends in short time. Ron is also a very loyal friend and a selfless, generous boy as we can see when he sacrifices himself while playing the life-size wizards chess at the end of the book.
