Harvey Courant In The Adventures Of Huckleberry Finn

216 Words1 Pages
Life and The Hartford Courant are both critiques of the book The Adventures of Huckleberry

Finn. Though they are both speaking about the book their comments and remarks are actually very

different. The Hartford Courant is admiring the creativity and tenacity of the author of The Adventures

of Huckleberry Finn, when Life is more sarcastic and somewhat bashing the writing and creativity of the

author. The Hartford Courant believes that Mark Twain’s writing is a breath of fresh air, a story created

by the author that is so original it made an impact on how famous the Mississippi River was. Life

believes the opposite, he believe that Mark Twain’s writing is so predictable it should be a story to laugh

at while it is read to children.
