Have you ever wondered where baby sea turtles go once they hatch? Or maybe you're the few that wonder how long they'll last once out in the wild. Unfortunately there are many threats that face the hatchlings from the time inside their eggs, to when they hatch. Predators like dingoes dig up the nest to eat the eggs as well as the turtles, but even if the hatchlings survive through that then they have another feat to face, having to make their way to the ocean, which is a treacherous journey on its own. You might not think so, but just imagine yourself as the hatchling, now baby turtle's head to the brightest thing they can see which may or may not be your own porch light.
