For instance, when Tybalt kills Mercutio because he called him the King of Cats, Romeo got revenge on Tybalt and kills him. “Either thou, or I, or both shall go with him” (3.1.126). Romeo says that one of them will die because he killed Mercutio, and Romeo wants revenge on him. Because of this Romeo gets exiled out of the city, and Juliet is grieving, her family thinks it’s because Tybalt is slain so they have her marry Paris.
