Hatred Towards Characters In Animal Farm

153 Words1 Pages
While reading Animal Farm by George Orwell, I began to develop hatred towards the characters in the novel. In chapter two, I started to kind of dislike Mollie because the only things she was worried about were sugar cubes and ribbons. She wanted to know if those items would be available after the rebellion. Furthermore, in chapter five, when Napoleon disagreed with Snowball about the windmill, he went and literally peed on all of his plans. Even though the story is fiction, Napoleon’s actions offended me. Also, when Napoleon chased Snowball away with the nine dogs and then said the windmill was all his idea in the first place, that really made me delirious. However, these actions that Orwell has the animals performing does keep me interested.
