Have you ever rescued an abused dog? Or explored in a haunted house?These are some of my extremely meaningful memories that remain in my head and I think about all the time. These are exciting and sad but end up all right. My first start right now. My mother gives me a heart shaped plastic bottle full of glittery transparent purple nail polish. As excited as I was, so was my brother. He scampered down the hallway to the stool I was sitting at and asked me if I would do his. As weird as it seemed for him to ask me to paint his nails glittery purple, I was fired up and said yes. We sat at an undersized table and I got to work. The fumes in the nail polish had a putrid , gaging smell, and thankfully I had just finished. His cuticles had the polish covering them as well as under his nails , so out comes the nail polish remover and its fumes were far worse than the nail polish itself. The fumes were so heavy I had to leave the room but my brothers nails ended up more perfect than they should have been. I got out of the car and shivered from the icy wind. All of our hearts sank when we saw how terribly Morgan and her 2 babies were being treated. They were in a pen of shiny prickely grey chicken wire with an unsturdy teepee of wood. Inside the teepee was a rusty metal water bucket filled with ice and frozen bugs. There were soggy woodchips and poop covering the ground. The smell was sharp and putrid. Morgan and her babies were jumping up and down and barking like nuts. They were extremely greasy and their paws were caked with dirt. We met up with 2 young girls we didnt know that were taking her babies. It took a while to get morgan inside the kennel in the back of our car but we did it and our little morgan drooled and snored peacefully all the way
