Blurryface Halloween, costumes, parties, haunted houses, kids running in the streets. Now 16 is too old for most of those things. So there in the worn out couches of Hayley’s damp basement are 4 friends Lex, Hayley, Lynn and Patty. The outcasts as they're known to the all too small number of students at Hill Park High School. Bored out of their minds they sit in silence with the 4th horror movie playing in the background “Okay, I’ve had enough of this. The 2 mile walk to the mill has them out of breath and already sore. “Why didn’t we just drive?” complains Patty “You want us to get caught? My parents would kill us.” replies Hayley pushing her violet hair out of her eyes. Slipping through the shattered glass window and jumping a few feet to the hard floor below Patty voices just above a whisper “Guys this really isn't a good idea, let's just go back.”. “Stop being such a wuss” Lex taunts and gives Patty a small shove “ You scared?” “Let’s just get this over with” Patty replies with a huff. As Lynn jumps over the banister they hear a crashing noise and the sound of footsteps on the creaky wooden floor “Rats.” Lex says simply, trying more to convince himself than the others.
