As a passionate and driven individual, I am excited to apply for the Health Science camp at the University of Delaware. This program aligns perfectly with my academic and career aspirations of becoming a healthcare professional. I am eager to learn from experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience in the field, and network with like-minded peers. Additionally, I am particularly interested in the prevalence of cerebrovascular disease in Delaware and its impact on the state’s healthcare system. I want to become an ICU Travel Nurse because ever since I was younger, I have wanted to help anyone in need and feel the adrenaline rushing through my body to get someone the help they need; I also love to travel the world, so why not do both. I identify with the eligibility criteria because I already have 2 science credits (Biology and Earth Science)and plan on taking a pre-med course in my sophomore year of the high school year. Im 15 years old with a 3.80 GPA, and straight A’s and I’ve always had a strong passion/interest in nursing and overall just Health Science in general. Some of my strengths include multi-tasking, critical thinking, decision-making, and organization. My goal after high school is to go to one of the few colleges with amazing nursing programs (the University of Delaware, Temple University, University of Berkeley.)
