The lesson started off with a small amount of awkward silence and it was easy to feel the nervousness in the room. However, I have given many presentations with my previous jobs and am fairly comfortable speaking to a wide range of audiences. The class quickly relaxed after I had everyone give brief introductions of themselves and what they expected to learn from the course. The PowerPoint was started as soon as the packets were handed out, and all questions were requested to be held until the end of the presentation. Each slide was given a time allotment of 3 minutes, with the presentation lasting a total of 50 minutes.
