In Only Doesn’t Mean Lonely, an article published in the Chicago Tribune, Heidi Stevens discusses whether the only child is lonely. Stevens believes that the only child is not alone, usually batter than child of having sibling. First, he points out that the only child is not as spoiled, lonely or maladjusted as people think. But the author also indicates that they still have to bear the prejudice of most people because of the only child. And then, Stevens supposes that the only child is very clear to know what the consequences of non-communication is. Stevens cited an example, “Rather than say 'My friend has three children and her oldest is a loner, ' we get stuck in this pattern about only children, no matter what the studies say.” As we know, nobody can do the real justice so I guess when people has a new baby, the old child will get less care than before. About this inference, the best example is myself. When I born in this world, I got the most care of my presents. Most of the time I did something wrong, my present would comfort me. But my sisters did something wrong, my father was more in the case of criticism. Gradually, my sister turned to be scanty of words.
