Helen Keller is in many ways an intrepid, indefatigable, intelligent, and definitely respectable woman. A tragic fate hit her by taking away her ability to hear and eyesight at such an early age, it was like isolating her from the whole world. But she did not back away from the challenges that fate threw at her. Through her firm resolve and the diligent instruction from her teacher, she not only had mastered sign language but also learnt five different languages. After graduating from Harvard, she dedicated herself to helping those who are blinded from all over the world, receiving numerous eulogies and awards. Seeing someone with such disability achieving so many out-standing accomplishments has surprised me to the core. Helen Keller has risen
