An accomplishment can have many meanings to different people. Helen Keller’s quoted, “No pessimist ever discovered the secret of stars, or sailed to an uncharted land, or opened a new doorway for the human spirit.” Erik Weihenmayer, has changed the definition of accomplishment to a higher degree. Weihenmayer has been the first blind person to climb to the top of Mount Everest. Erik is able to achieve anything he dreams. The motivational mindset of this man aides him to keep on striving for greatness.

Both Keller and Weihenmayer have played a key role for eternity. Having a disability has failed to stop both role models for achieving milestones. Helen Keller still managed to receive her bachelor’s degree, even though she was deaf and blind.
