1. Describe and discuss one genetically linked reproductive health issue and blood disorder in terms of detection, prevention, and health promotion. Primary infertility (genetically controlled) can be taken here as an example of reproductive health issue whereas, Hemophilia as a blood disorder. According to WHO, primary infertility can be defined as incapability to bear any children either because of inability to conceive, or due to incapacity to carry it to full term after 1 year of unprotected sexual contact. For instance, people suffering from a bleeding disorder may not work like the normal individuals. Besides, financial burden is also faced by society because of health care facilities required by such people and due to implementation of policies relevant with them. These policies may lie in various categories such as, health care, counseling, and financial aid etc and are usually designed to improve the life-style of individuals facing such impediments, but ultimately they increase the financial burden on tax-payers. Same can be called true about the infertile females as well because, even though they may not face functional problems, but diagnostic, counseling, and treatment etc facilities are demanded by them too (Kinney et al., 2006).
