The famous automobile manufacturer Henry ford was born on July 30, 1863, by Dearborn, Michigan. As a child he lived in his family’s farm in Wayne County, when he was 13 years old as a gift from his father he received a pocket watch. He took apart the watch and put it back together and people around his community were shocked by his capabilities that they began asking for him to fix stuff for them. As Ford grew up he became unsatisfied with the farm work, and left home at the age of 16, to take an apprenticeship as a machinist at a shipbuilding firm in Detroit. That same year him and Thomas Edison had a meeting and he got encouraged by Edison to build a second and told him to make a better model. After a few trials of building cars and companies, in 1903, he began his company Ford Motor Company, and introduced the Model T that year in October and for a few years his company posted 100 percent gains. Ford became known for his revolutionary work and the manufacturer of an inexpensive automobile that was made by qualified workers that got paid steady wages. He died from a cerebral hemorrhage on April 7, 1947, at the age of 83, near Deadborn. He is considered one of America’s leading businessmen, and today is seen as one of the founders that helped America’s economy during the nation's weak years. The five traits that fits Henry Ford better would be independent, human-relation skills, technical ability, ability to make decisions, and lastly hard working. All these describe Ford in a way from starting his own business and designing his own car and not being afraid of taking risks of leaving home as well as taking opinions from other
