Henry Ford, despite the fact that he started out poor and worked in the engineering area, managed to build his first gasoline powered Quadricycle, five years later he created the Model T. When Henry was younger his father gifted him with a watch, Ford then started to take it apart and reassemble it which got him into the manufacturing business. As he grew older he stayed in the business and created a car known as, Model T. Because he helped America's economy during their most vulnerable years, Henry Ford is considered one of America's Leading Businessman. Ford was a revolutionary figure in the automotive world by improving the assembly line, work, pay, and the Model T.
One of Ford’s biggest accomplishments was the creation of the Model T. After

While he was working, he would tend to put the skids and anything apart of the construction of the assembly line on the floor. “The workers who built his Model N cars (the Model T’s predecessor) arranged the parts in a row on the floor, put the under-construction auto on skids and dragged it down the line as they worked”(“Ford's Assembly Line Starts Rolling” 1). This quote proves how the cars were put into the process of the assembly line. They would have to arrange it carefully to not damage or derange anything. Back in their time, flour mills, bakeries, and breweries were common and the way they worked helped inspire Ford with the process of the assembly line. “Inspired by the continuous-flow production methods used by flour mills, breweries, canneries and industrial bakeries, along with the disassembly of animal carcasses in Chicago’s meat-packing plants”(“Ford's assembly line starts rolling” 1). This quote proves that the methods they were trying to use, was to make the assembly line possible. If it were not for all the production methods they had to offer, they would not have been able to continue this process. During this time while working they had to manage the amount of hours they had to
