As a person that has read a lot of books during her lifetime, it is hard to choose only one character to trade places with. If I had to trade places with a character from literature I would choose Hermione Granger from the series Harry Potter. During the books this character gave the readers a sense of humor and that even in the magic world there are struggles. As many people around the world had problems of their own, Hermione and her two friends had theirs, she would find a way to solve the problems the best way possible and keep her friends safe. To me this character represents the person that I want to be, a person that is loyal to her family and friends, a person that is brave and a person that would always strive for more knowledge. The books talk about the life of a young wizard, Harry Potter, and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, all of whom are students at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry. During the series Hermione uses her quick wit, deft recall, and encyclopedic knowledge to help her friends. One of my favorite things from this character is her academic achievements and how smart she really is. In book three of the series, The Prisoner of Azkaban, Hermione managed to get amazing grades and also save the wizarding world at the same time. During her fifth year at Hogwarts in The Order of The Phoenix, she helps create Dumbledore's Army to train other students in defense against the dark arts under an unbearable and non-educational Umbridge rule. In Hermione’s fifth year at Hogwarts she becomes the founder of Dumbledore’s Army, a secret organization that properly teaches students Defence Against the Dark Arts. In Half Blood Prince, she helps Ron win the Keeper position for the Gryffindor Team by performing the Confundus Charm on Cormac McLaggen. When Ron, who was affected the most by the horcrux, became overcome with the exhaustion of the constant search and decided to leave, Hermione could have easily left as well.
