Heston Blumenthal worked very hard to be where he is now. He after learning the basics of cooking took on the role to teach himself. This is what we call passion. He then started a short term apprenticeship at a restaurant called Raymond Blanc’s Le Mainor. In the time after he left and before he opened The Fat Duck he worked hard as various different jobs such as a credit controller and repo man. Heston then bought an old run down pub and opened his first restaurant there called the Fat Duck. The restaurant became world famous after praises from famous food critics.
