They had quite a few differences. Some differences include the gender. They completely swapped roles. Another is where the accident happened. In the radio play, the accident was on a bridge, but in
They both had different ways in fixing them
I chose this two speech’s by Ethan Crabtree and Ben Everett because they were both similar in the topic. They were about the nutrition of the human body and how Aspartame affects the human body. In this paper, I will be comparing and contrasting the way they were delivered, how much knowledge each one the speakers seemed to have about their topic, and there visual aid work such as, handouts, PowerPoints, and or poster boards. And the highlights of each speech. Ethan’s speech was about how a good balanced diet and exercising can be very advantageous to the health of your body.
On the northern slope of Hawaii's Mauna Loa Volcano, six scientists have been living as though they are inhabiting Mars. The reason; to see if the diet they are on will be enough for a real astronaut to survive on. For four months, Hawaii Space Exploration Analogue and Simulations (HI-SEAS) participants have been studying how their food supply has effected their energy, weight and of course, their appetites. The mock-astronaut's new diet has resulted in minor weight loss for every member. This, of course, could be from the frequent exercise that the scientists did not partake in while at home.
Main Argument and Thesis The main point of the article is that diets can often be dependent upon geographic surroundings. Diets can provide essential nutrients and minerals in various ways. Supporting Evidence The authors, Patricia Gadsby and Leon Steele, support their main point through using nutritional evidence, referencing scientific studies, and providing dialogue from multiple individuals.
One of the most notable differences
This appeals to our physiological needs because naturally, humans need to eat food and to hear from a professional that there are other influences outside of food that are giving cause to the obesity crisis gives Americans a slight sigh of relief when it comes to the degree of toxicity of our foods. Furthermore, that people eat a more wholesome diet versus those that do not, tend to be healthier than that live on fast and processed foods, there are also stark differences to recognize between these classes that should be taken into account as well such as the tendency to engage in exercise, air quality, and other health considerations such as smoking and
The study that we found observed the same variables of body composition as we did. They observed arm mass, trunk mass, and total lean, just to name a few. Their participants also performed at least 2 scans, which is similar to our project. However, they did 3 scans in 1 day, and the participants were fasted before they arrived for his or her scan, and they consumed a meal before each of their participant’s last scan. In our study since we were working with a college aged population, and they would be walking from various places around campus to come to the exercise physiology lab, we decided to have them rest for 5 minutes before getting an analyzation of their body composition.
He gives an explanation of nutritionism is “decidedly unscientific things” (19) and studying nutrients is “the only thing [nutritional scientists] can do” (62). He explains in detail that the nutrient content of the food depends on the different soil. Different food has so many nutrition, each food has many functions to aid to build the human body stronger. The author reminds us that in nutrition science, much is still a theory and most encouragements need to improve. Also, nutrition science has usually put more of its energies into the idea that the problems it studies are the result of too much of a bad thing instead of too little of a good
For my nutrition research paper, I decided to watch the film, Supersize Me by Morgan Spurlock. Morgan Spurlock actually doesn’t have a background in nutrition, but the movie he produced, proves how valuable proper nutrition is. It was a very fascinating movie, because at the very beginning, Morgan was above average. He had muscle, a proportionate BMI, low cholesterol, his intake was less than his outtake, and he had a great diet. Morgan was extremely healthy and decided he would go to three doctors for thirty days to help monitor his experiment.
The differences though slight are still really big in the
7. A) The findings applied to me because I am currently a college student and I did gain weight my first year of college. According to the research presented in the article that not many students actually gain 15 pounds their first year, that finding was accurate for me because I did not gain 15 pounds my freshman year. B) It made sense to me and goes with nutrition because it is important to eat healthy, exercise, and have good diet habits.
According to the director of laboratory for Elite Athlete Performance Dan Banardot, diet and exercise alone cannot possibly lead to lean muscle
