In high school, my resolution was to become as prepared as possible to pursue my degree in business. This resolution dictated the path I took in high school. I took as many courses in high school that would help me pursue my intended business major. Because of this, I only took courses that were most relevant to help me in my desired field of study. Also, I was driven to develop fundamental skills a business major must have. I've strengthened my leadership skills, refined my work ethic, and developed ways to apply different subjects to business. Combining all my attributes, we are left with a product that takes a unique approach at Business. However, I am far from perfect which is why the Ross School of Business will help me further my education to develop a positive impact on the world, through a businessmans perspective. I demonstrate leadership through organization, engaging conversations, and optimism. Being a leader is crucial to have when dealing with business. Our lives are already complicated, and balancing school, personal lives, and extracurricular activities, one barely has enough time to breathe. As Leonardo da Vinci once said, “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”. The ability to simplify a complex situation leads to less stress, and an effective method to generate a solution.
