High School Musical was and still is everyone's favorite to watch when it appears on Disney Channel. It made many small kids at that age including me, believe that high school would turn out to be like that. Instead, four years of school is wasted by listening to students yell in the hallways, having an overcrowding of slow walkers compatible to turtles, unexplained random bursts of applause in the cafeteria and the familiar words "I want to die".
High school is "the place where the stress of growing up and the stress of fitting in, join forces to destroy even the strongest" (Urban). Some parents define it as a casual place to learn all the basics that they could teach you but don’t have the time for. Most students develop thoughts about it the year they need to apply, but eager ones start even in their junior year. Individuals are able to take college courses to lessen their schedule when college begins which is an advantage. Being able to strengthen the mind contributes to a positive impact on social life, experience with other extracurricular clubs and to find internships in the future. Forming a good relationship with a teacher is very beneficial towards college. There may be times where a student will have a large lecture, instead of an average small class size like in high school.
