The United States of America and the country of Israel have always had a close friendship despite the numerous challenging obstacles that may have appeared on the road in the long run. America has always supported Israel; therefore, President Barack Obama has recently prepared to seal a deal with the foreign country, granting them thirty-eight billion dollars in military aid for a decade plus additional money for missile defense provided by Congress. This deal is the largest aid in American history that has ever been presented to one of its allied countries. So, after President Obama publicized this pact, presidential candidates, Republican, Donald J. Trump and, Democrat, Hillary Clinton individually met with Netanyahu and discussed America’s affiliation with Israel and what the future awaits when the next President of the United States of America (POTUS) takes their place office. Clinton assured Netanyahu that she would remain by Israel’s side and will always offer American aid when needed. Clinton’s point of view towards Israel is benefited by the Israeli defense deal, she is in favor of the country, has a well-developed friendship with the country’s prime minister and obviously would not want any controversy between her country and Israel. Using common sense, aiding Israel helps America keep peace with it, if we were to take away all military support and overall protection towards the country then we would lose an ally, thus sparking tense issues between both countries and that is the last thing this country needs and wants.
