During the holocaust 6 million people were killed, but the historical events impacted the people in the annex in many ways. Anne Frank and 7 other people spent 25 months hiding in a small annex with little food and crowded spaces. Many historical events impacted and changed the character’s mood and actions in the drama of Anne Frank.
Staying in a small space with the same people for 25 months, the character’s mood towards other character’s become tense. For instance, Mrs. Frank was screaming at Mr. Van Daan for stealing food, then as Meip said “...The invasion has begun! The invasion!” (Hackett, 179) Mrs. Franks emotions reverse. The characters mood changes to a negative tone to a more positive tone.
