From that point on, it was a series of misstep after misstep that led Japan to the shores of Hawaii that December morning. Japan's money driven leaders blinded them from seeing the future impacts of their decisions. It was not entirely their fault, early action on the part of the United States would have made Pearl Harbor nothing more than a bad dream. It was foolish to even think that the U.S. could pass severe legislation against Japan and walk out unscathed. The fact of the matter is that Pearl Harbor was clearly a preventable occurrence.
Japan attacks Pearl Harbor "Yesterday, December 7th, 1941, a day that will live in infamy" This famous speech by Franklin Delano Roosevelt declared to Congress requesting war on Japan. Pearl Harbor, though the casualties were abundant, was the most pivotal point in World War II, and without it the United States of America would have never entered into World War II. Hitler then created a military group called the Nazis, who entrusted Hitler's strategic plan to "cleanse" the world.

• The reason for the Japanese attacking the location of Pearl Harbor was because it was home to the US Pacific Fleet, which was viewed as their only threat. • Preparations for the attack included the Japanese approaching the island of Oahu slowly and stealthy in order to be undetected by the American air and naval forces around the Hawaiian Islands. • They had to draw the attention of the Americans away from the naval base and towards Southeast Asia. • As the Japanese were increasingly coming up along the shores to attack, they came to the conclusion that the northern coast was more vulnerable than to the south or to the west.
Pearl Harbor was only about 5,000 miles from Japan, to close for comfort for Japan's military. Not only was the naval base close; additionally, it was growing. “ July 1940, US Congress passes Naval Expansion Act that Promises to triple fleet size by 1944” (Doc C) Japan was worried that the reason the United States navy was growing, doubled with other things were undertaking, was to attack Japan and its military. Attacking Pearl Harbor, before America could attack them, lowered the number of Japanese casualties and lowered America’s ships that were able to fight in the war against Japan and its allies.
The fact that the Japanese people had planned the attack months in advance, considering every possible aspect, undeniably supports the argument that the American people were in fact caught off guard. The Japanese had been meticulous and concise, which subsequently worked in their favour. The Japanese empire emerged victorious in this particular battle against the USA, temporarily crippling America’s Pacific Fleet. Japan had momentarily succeeded in their quest for complete dominance in the Pacific. Their motive for the attack on Pearl Harbour became clear.

The plan of the attack began when Japan was becoming greedy and wanted to begin expanding to different Pacific land. To the Japanese, the attack was only seen as strategy, to secure the Pacific for oil shipments (“Pearl Harbor” International). The operation for the attack was formulated by Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto (Advantage “Military”). Under commands, the Japanese fleets had based themselves 200 miles north of Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 at approximately 06:00 am Hawaiian time. For little over the next hour, the Japanese launched the three waves of approximately 360 aircrafts for the attack (“Japan Launches”).
All of the biguns are responsible for the crimes. They are responsible for the crimes because they have no proof on whether it was a murder or an accident. The only proof it was a murder was Ralph saying “Only two [killed] And, they’re gone”(Golding, 1954, p. 201.). Another reason they are responsible for the crimes is that there is no proof who did it.
Did you know that eleven million people died in the holocaust? Six million of those people were Jews. The Jews were captured and taken to concentration camps because the Nazis simply hated them. Concentration camps were made to kill off all of the Jews. They did this because they saw them as a problem to Germany.
