Even though there are many philosophical theories that could potentially support the falsehood of the Holocaust, such as Solipsism, it most likely did happen. Solipsism is the theory that only the self exists, or can be proved to exist (Solipsism). The presence of these theories could potentially lead to the denial of the Holocaust, but the numerous photos, statistics, and witness accounts show that there’s more proof it did happen then that it didn’t. There is no wartime document that contains the estimated number of Jews killed. This is most likely because the Germans knew they would lose the war, and therefore destroyed almost all documents that they had. Also there was no personnel around to even document the Jews and when/ how they died until around the end of World War 2. The Us did capture some gruesome documents from the Germans, which were used to calculate some of the figures (Documenting).
