Before 1933
Before 1933, people were recovering from the deaths and injuries of the tens of millions of soldiers and civilians in World War I, as well as recovering from the catastrophic damage to properties and industries. Jews in Europe were working …show more content…

1939-1941
On September 1, 1939, Germany invaded Poland, and over the following year, conquered much of Europe while persecuting Jews. In June 1941, Germany turned on its ally, the Soviet Union, and afterward, the Union’s mobile killing units followed the German army, carrying out mass shootings as it went. Gas vans also appeared on the eastern front in the late fall of 1941.
1942-1945
There was intense fighting on the eastern and western fronts of World War II. Nazi Germany saw the opportunity to expel millions of Jews to organized killing centers. By the end of the war in spring 1945, allied troops uncovered crimes committed during the Holocaust.
After 1945
By May 1945, the Germans and their collaborators, in a systematic plan, murdered six million European Jews as part of the Holocaust. Soldiers found thousands of survivors in uncomfortable situation and they were housed eventually.

What was the goal of the "Final Solution?"

The goal of the “Final Solution” was the Nazi’s plan to destroy the Jewish people, remain uncertain. This horrible “solution” consisted of gassing, shooting, terrorism, disease, and starvation which contributed to the deaths of about 6 million Jews.

At least 1,000 ghettos were established in German-occupied and annexed Poland and the Soviet Union alone. The largest ghetto, located in Poland, was named the Warsaw ghetto. More than 400,000 Jews were forced to live in a space of 1.3 miles. The ghetto was enclosed by a wall that was over 10 feet high, and on top of it was barb wiring. The ghetto was closely guarded as well.

By looking at the picture, I can tell that people were treated strictly in an enclosed area. Also it looks like the Jews are in a horrible condition to be in prison and they have very limited resources.
