C: Good morning Home Depot executives, we are the representatives from CORP corporations, and we are here to present our suggestion for the best site for your new location. A: In this presentation, we hope to shine light on all the 3 possible locations. Our first vision and our researched vision on all of the locations. C: We will be looking at all aspects of the locations, and present our result. Before that, we want to give an introduction on what kind of company we are. CORP, also known as Corporation of Respectable Prominence. Is a prominent in the site searching industry, in short, we find new locations for stores. For this map, we determined that customers would go to the closest store and we looked at a 2k radius. From this, we can see that there is competition for Denison, though Finch had no competition at all. Even though that is the case, we felt that more stores in the area meant that there were more potential customers in the area, for example, the case with competition in this area (point). But Finch looks most desirable as of competition. A: Then, we looked at the number of potential customers, as the more customers there are, the more appealing the area. And we created a dot map. Though the difference in amounts of customers are unclear, there is a huge difference in the number of customers which from the data were people from 25-59 female, and 25-69 for males (looking at the 3 closest Home Depot store info on customer, Kipling, Steeles, and Billy Bishop). C: Denison is able to serve the most amount of people by far, being able to serve 2000 more customers than Suntract, and almost 7000 more to Finch. Finch by far, is able to serve the least amount of people. And from this, we felt that even though, it had no competition, less profitable customer-wise. And by looking at Average income of the area, we are able to see that, once again, Denison, can serve the people best in the target range. Next, we looked at repairs, minor and major, we didn’t put both graphs together because, Home Depot is mostly a minor repair store, but major repairs are potential customers. So the darker the map is, the better it is for the home depot location. According to the graph the Denison and Suntract area are in more need for minor repairs, while Finch and Denison are more in need of Major repairs, and according to both charts, it seems that as of repairs, Denison is once more, the best client. Then, there is regular maintenance, maintenance means that there needs to be equipment used to do the maintenance. Paint, window wipes and tools, and once again, Home Depot is the store to go to for these tools. And therefore, the more dwellings that need to be maintenance, the more people will shop at home depot, and we look at regular maintenance, and once again, Denison is in the most need of regular maintenance, which is another reason why it is the most suitable
