They were not forced to join this army; they were not chosen to join, they chose to join. Our soldiers prepared for months, years even but war ended many lives. They gave up so much more for us then we could ever imagine giving to someone.
Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. The foundation of America is freedom. Freedom from Britain. However, the freedom is limited to white males who own property. When colonists started to immigrate to America, they wanted to escape from under the rule of Britain.
I want people to understand what they have and where they are because of these brave heroes fighting for our country. I fear this question when I ask myself “Where would we be without our veterans?” Due to our past veterans and present soldiers, we are able to walk to school, ride our bikes down the back roads, and most importantly walk our home soil without the fear of being attacked. Our Amendments play a crucial part to our freedom, but without brave heroes, such as our veterans, to protect our every right as Americans, we would have nothing.

They train to be able to endure all the hardships that may come their way. Service members have to be in the best physical shape to serve and because of all that they do, they are thought of as brave and selfless people.
