One of the most basic needs of every individual is a home to live in. Not only does this provide physical interference against the weather and natural elements, it also ensures the safety and security of every individual. Lucky are those who are given the opportunity to have a nice home with all the important amenities, beautiful landscape, and nice garage door in the middle of a ritzy neighborhood in Milwaukee, WI.

There is no single reason that tells us why more and more people have been hitting our radars. During the conversation we had to some of the people we have relocated, the most prevalent reason was because they were thrown out due to their inability to pay for mortgages.
There were kids as young as 10 who were forced to run away due to the abuse they endure at home. Being at the age, not even at the right age to find a job for themselves, they are left to roam the streets day and night. There are also teenagers who claimed to being thrown out due to some petty reasons or another. This including coming out to their parents who do not have the understanding to accept it. While others are simply a victim of circumstance, who since time immemorial, have lived and breathe in the streets.
Addressing the problem
By understanding this dilemma did the need for the Thomas Jefferson Area Coalition for the Homeless (TJACH) was established. This, with the right partners, we’re able to make the wrong right, and plan a strategic solution that would be beneficial for the whole community. We create a better living arrangement for the homeless, and work toward that day where homelessness becomes just a product of the
