He is mainly known for his most famous epic poems Iliad and Odyssey. The Iliad is the recount of significant events during the final weeks of the Trojan war. The Iliad is also known as one of the greatest love stories of all time. It has many themes such as glory, wrath and fate, and has given subject matter to various other Greek, Roman, and Renaissance writings. A strange fact about Homer is that there is no written information of his life, because of this some historians dispute that he was even a person and that the name Homer was actually a pseudonym.

Another achievement was that he started a school for medicine where he taught how to keep a record of patient’s conditions and symptoms. Hippocrates based his treatments on the healing power of a good diet, cleanliness, fresh air and rest. He also noticed that people cope with symptoms of the same illness in different ways, in videlicet there is not one treatment to cure all illness. Hippocrates was also the first to suggest that feeling do not originate in the heart but derives from the brain. There is scarcely any information on his death, and the possible years in which he may have died is still unknown. He was the tutor of Alexander the Great, however that was not his greatest achievement. One of his most renown works was his philosophy, which provided us with a system of cognitive thinking related to ethics rather than theoretical study. Aristotle was the earliest one to study formal logic. He is considered the father of Western science, he wrote the first books on many scientific subjects such as physics to psychology. Aristotle was a man with many talents, he was a philosopher, scientist, psychologist, writer, but over all a critical thinker. Today, Aristotle impact on the World is still felt he is believed to be the godfather of the Internet base business such as, entrepreneurial start-ups, and e-commerce: as he stated in his work the Politics, the entire purpose of society is to enable each person “to attain a higher and better life by the mutual exchange of their different
