Maze Runner

Teenaged boys are also known as the Gladers are placed in a big walled off area in the middle of nowhere called the Glade, the only thing they remember is their names. The Gladers develop a system where the everyone has a job, Farmer's, Slicers, Builders, Cooks and the Runners, the runners are one of the most important roles because they are their only chance out. Every month the glade receives a new member this month the newest member is Thomas. He shows hope because he brings them new ideas and starts doing things people haven't even thought of before. He is constantly finding out new things about the maze and increasing their chances of escape. In the novel Maze Runner by James Dashner, the best thing to take away from it is that it is human nature to have hope because hope is what keep people from falling apart.

When Thomas and Newt are in the Homestead and are talking about the maze and new ideas. Newt says “That’s one of the reasons we run this place all nice and busy like.
