Many people contemplate on the fact that celebrities profoundly influence teens. “If T.I., Wiz Khalifa, and Lil Wayne can rap about drugs, then drugs are okay to do.” This is what parents and others think is going on in teenager’s heads. Even though a few of our actions may show it, is this truly what we’re thinking? Maybe. Maybe not. In the view of this, let’s see what is happening. In Bobby Shmurda’s song “Hot Boy,” one of his lyrics are “I been sellin’ crack since like the fifth grade.” A fifth grader listening to this song might not have picked up on this lyric while listening to it. But a 10th grader would’ve. Whenever you have a mindset that doing something illegal or wrong is okay, you tend to act upon those actions.
