Weather on land changes between seasons and times in the day. But does it change higher in our atmosphere? If it does how and why does it differ?
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere is the envelope of gases surrounding the earth. This means that it is what keeps air from flowing away from the earth. All planets have an atmospheThere are four main layers in the earth's atmoshphere: troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, and thermosphere. The two closest layers of the atmosphere to our earth’s surface are the troposphere and the stratosphere.
The tratosphere:

It can reach up to 30-50 km off of the earth's surface. The stratosphere is seperated from the tratosphere by a 10km thick ozone layer. The ozone layer is a reagion in the atmosphere that absorbs most of the Sun's Ultra violet radiation ,UV rays, before it reaches the ground.
Atmospheric temperature:
Atmospheric temperature is a measure of temperature at different levels of the earth's atmosphere. It is governed by humidity and altitude. The size of ground level atmospheric temperature also depends on several factors such as the average temperature, the regime of winds, and the proximity to large bodies of water.
Altitude:
Altitude is the aparent height of an opject above the horizon. It is measured as an angle. Altitude is measured using an altimeter. The measurement of altitude is an altimetry. Altitude is measured from the mean sea level to the object in the air. More than 140 million people live at altitudes above 2500 meters. Caretakers of a mine in Chile have lived at an altitude nearly 6000 metres. The highest point on Earth is the summit of Mt. Everest which has an altitude of 8848 metres.
