How are they being protected? Are they even being protected? Are their families also being protected? Let’s get right into it and we will talk about the many different ways they keep themselves protected while being on the job and how their families are also protected. Because in reality, unsubs are highly capable of finding them and using them against you and treating them as their victim. Lastly, they’re protected by not sharing personal information with anyone they don’t know, most Profilers keep their sensitive personal information in their files such as names, social security numbers, credit cards, or any other data information that identifies them. When they first start their training to become a Profiler they have to go through protocols, dealing with fake criminals and using defense methods so they know how to keep themselves safe against any criminal in reality. When doing their job they know the first thing they have to do is to always keep their personal information safe and private because, in case of any ongoing crimes, an unsub could always act as an undercover profiler and steal their information and therefore get a hold of they’re family members, they’re id, social …show more content…

For example, have their locations at all times, make sure they carry any type of defensive devices, never accept a ride from a stranger, being aware that their spouse is a criminal profiler/FBI profiler so a lot of unsubs could try to get ahold of their family members. When their spouse or kids are out for a walk or shopping for groceries make sure they walk with their head up straight, always make eye contact, pay attention to who and what’s around them, always keep their keys on them, always have their doors and windows looked before they leave anywhere or before they go to sleep. If they ever do come across an unsub do NOT panic! Although they would panic it is best to stay calm because if the unsub sees they’re vulnerable they will use that. Unsubs are extremely dangerous. They don’t care about anybody but themselves.
