Can different wing designs have more lift? Flying is one of the things that can terrify most people, but there is nothing really to be afraid of while flying. In a car, you have a lower chance of death or injury on an airplane, than in a car. Airplanes need something called lift to stay in the air, air is also needed because without air there would be no air resistance, or drag to hold the airplane in the air. Lift is a very important part for an airplane, lift on the airplane is generated by every part on the outside of the airplane. Lift is a force, that is mechanical, anything that flies must have aerodynamics to fly. An airplane must be going a certain amount of speed to stay in the air, an airplane must generate continuous power, to keep the airplane moving above its required speed.

Today airplanes have engines that can keep it up to its needed speed. Airplanes started showing up around World War I, and had a significant use on the battle field, but they were made from week materials like; wood, rope, metal wire, and canvas. Today airliners, fighter jets, cargo carriers, and a large majority of airplanes today are made from hardened aluminum, because aluminum is a lightweight metal, titanium, a strong light weight metal. Aluminum is the outer skin of an airplane, it has a large electrical protection to the
