A “YouTuber” or “content creator” is someone who post any type of content on the YouTube platform. YouTube has been around for years and will continue to be here for a long time, the platform is only getting bigger as it is adding and extending their platform. Through Youtube, the number of successful people will only continue to grow. Also at the same time, because of the growing number content creators, it is becoming a lot harder to make it to the top, and become a money making YouTuber. For example, PewDiePie is the biggest gaming youtuber with a following of 59 million currently. Many YouTubers like PewDiePie and others put out videos that details everything you could possibly need to know about getting paid on YouTube (“Lets Talk About Money”). There is a lot more going on then what common people think. One of the most common misconceptions people have is that they make money just based on views and they are wrong. There is more than most people think that ties into their paychecks and some content creators do things outside of YouTube that benefit their checks and channel overall. “Typically Youtubers work from home, and some make their entire livelihood producing content” (Kachroo-Levine) .
