If you know what a twenty dollar bill looks like then you know who Andrew Jackson is. If not then I’ll fill you in. He is the seventh president of the United States. Andrew has put an impact on the world and you don’t even know it. He made choices for the U.S government because of his places in government. For example he ordered the cherokee to be removed from the trail of tears because he felt that was right. And some people feel that Andrew chose bad choices for the U.S but haters gonna hate.
Andrew was born March 8,1845 unfortunately he was born into poverty. He became a wealthy Tennessee lawyer and rising young politicos by 1812. One particular troubling dispect of it was his dealings with native Americans. He signed and implement the Indian Removal Act 1830, which gave him the power to make treaties with tribes that resulted on their displacement to territory west of the Mississippi River return for their ancestral homelands. This made many people mad and angry, enough to hate Jackson. Jackson didn't let it get the best of him though.
Some people don't realize how he contributed to the U.S before he was the president. To start off Jackson joined the army at the age 13 to fight in the revolutionary war. He was a member of the House of Representatives during 1796 to 1797. Also he wa some the governor of the Florida territory in 1821. He then became the United States senator during 1823 to 1825. Lastly he served two terms as the president of the U.S through 1829 to 1837. His career was based from, law, politician, statesman.
