He’s the youngest of the three Wilson brothers and was a vocalist for the Beach Boys. As being the youngest of the Wilson’s he too, experienced abuse as a child. But he did turn things around when started to play around with music and eventually becoming a Pendletone. Everything was going great in Carl’s life for a while, he had a wife, kids, fame. So that’s when he decided to take a breal from the “Boys”. “Carl Wilson left the Beach Boys for a short time in 1981 to create his first solo venture, the self-titled Carl Wilson, touring with his own band. He rejoined the Beach Boys the following year, and remained with them for the rest of his career.” But what happened next was tragic, In 1983 his brother Dennis died in the marina. Things really changed after that but he decided to keep moving on with his life and he eventually got into the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame” with the Beach Boys. In 1997, knowing about his lung cancer he toured with the group anyways and ended up dieing of his cancer a year later. Carl lived a great life, and he pulled through the pain, and unlike the rest of his family stayed away from drugs and alcohol. Love is the lead singer and stage spokesperson. Aside from music he likes meditation, his many vacation homes, has had many wifes, and has eight kids. According to Mike, "TM has really enabled me to avoid some of the excesses that are all too easy to get seduced by." (Mike Love) That’s really important to someone who is traveling and performing constantly. Mike Love has been meditating for 49 years, says Rolling Stone. Love’s also still writing songs today, but a few he wrote for the Beach Boys include “Fun, Fun, Fun”, “California Girls” and “Good Vibrations”. Mike Love is still with us today and is overall a true
