Many people try to get a job after finish college in their life. But Christ not doing that way, he want to live by himself and to do what he wanna do. Christopher Johnson McCandless he had changed his name to Alexander Supertramp, when he decided to leave his parent and go into the wild. He gave all his money away from savings to charity, burned all cash he had, abandoned his car and most of his possessions and became new life for him in the wilderness explorers. After two years, McCandless found out he has some potatoes seeds that he brought from South Dakota.

He has run low on food despite carrying a rifle because he did not expect the big challenge in the wilderness of Alaska. In McCandless postcard to Westerberg, he has written, “Please return all mail I receive to the sender. It might be a long time before I return South. If this adventure proves fatal and you don’t ever hear from me again, I want you to know you’re a great man. I now walk into the wild”(69). During his time traveling alone into the wilderness, he has sent lots of letters to his friends to let them know how he is doing. The quote was represented the foreshadow is telling us that there will be something bad happening. While he has lived alone in Alaska, he has come to realize that when he still back at home with his family, he was always having lot of fun, whenever his dad birthday was coming up and the family always be there to celebrate the birthday together. His friends were always there to help McCandless whenever he need, back in the old time when McCandless was busy his friends willing to help him with his work.
