This recent presidential election has led to the creation of a more hostile nation. The person who I believe influenced this is, presidential candidate Donald Trump. Donald Trump himself did not create the acts of hate that we are witnessing, he caused them to rise in numbers by using racist and sexist messages in his campaign speech to encourage hateful people. As we are aware, racism and sexism has plagued America since it was founded. Hostilely has been in American long before this presidential election, however, Donald trump used hostility through his tone during his campaign, which consequently, caused a resurgence in hate crimes.

These sources say that the acts are inspired by Trumps’ vicious language. Many of the people who are committing these crimes often repeat things that Trump has said.
